This policy explains what happens to information when you visit Tweaker.
Information we collect
Tweaker is a static publication. You do not need an account to read it. At launch, we do not use site analytics, ad trackers, contact forms, or nonessential cookies.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process basic request data needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser and device details, the page requested, the time of the request, and rough location based on an IP address. Vercel handles that information under its own privacy notice and service terms.
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use that information only to read and answer your message, keep a record where needed, protect the site, or meet a legal duty.
How information is used
Basic hosting data may be used to deliver pages, keep the site secure, find errors, and prevent abuse. Email information may be used to reply to you and manage the request you made.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for targeted ads. We do not run an email list at launch.
Service providers and outside links
Vercel hosts and delivers Tweaker. Its systems may process request data as described above. You can read the Vercel Privacy Notice for more detail.
Our pages also load the required AMP page software from cdn.ampproject.org. That service receives standard request data when your browser asks for the file. Google's Privacy Policy explains how Google handles information across its services.
Our articles link to outside websites. Those sites set their own privacy rules. A link does not give us control over what another site collects.
AI-assisted editorial work
Our editorial team may use AI-assisted tools to help with early drafts, research summaries, and original illustrations. Before publication, the work goes through source, claim, and copy checks. AI output is not treated as a source. The Tweaker Editorial Team byline names our editorial role rather than a separate public individual, and its avatar is an original illustration. Tweaker does not send visitor information to generative AI tools through this website.
Affiliate links
Tweaker does not use affiliate links at launch. We may add them in the future. If we do, we will clearly mark the relationship where it matters and update this policy. A commission would not change the price paid by the reader.
Data retention and security
We keep email messages only as long as they are useful for the request, a valid business need, site safety, or a legal duty. Hosting records are kept under Vercel's controls and retention rules.
No online service can promise perfect security. We use a limited-data site design to reduce what can be exposed.
Children
Tweaker is written for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children for personal information.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or raise a privacy concern. Rights differ by place, and some records may need to be kept for legal or security reasons.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, its providers, or the law changes. The effective date at the top will show the latest version.
